Objectives  
By the end of the program, participants are expected to have:

• Developed an awareness of “Commonly Made Communication Errors” and how to avoid them
• Learned the principles of preparing effective business correspondences and presentations and how to apply such principles in their actual job requirements

1. Diagnostic Test
Developed by experts, this language proficiency test is a comprehensive assessment of written and oral communication skills in English. 
50-item multiple choice test requiring the application of basic English grammar rules; 30-minute writing test; 5-minute individual interviews with trainer
2.  Review of English Grammar
This module discusses “Commonly Made Grammatical Errors” and helps participants to avoid them for more confident and effective English communication.
Lecture and discussion; written exercises; group dynamics
3.  Vocabulary Enhancement and Use of English Expressions
Participants expand their knowledge of English words and expressions through dynamic exercises on synonyms and antonyms, analogy, and idiomatic expressions

4.  Conversational English
Participants learn new techniques to enhance their speech and pronunciation for more professional business communication.

5.  Business English in Customer Service
This module helps business communicators address client inquiries, complaints, and other concerns more professionally and adequately.

6.  Essentials of Business Writing (Discussion)
This module guides participants through the principles of effective writing and presents models of up-to-date writing styles.

7.  Writing Power Letters (Workshop)
This module will allow participants to write direct-to-the-point memoranda and business letters with efficiency for specific purposes.

8.  Preparing for a Business Presentation (Discussion)
This module helps participants develop the right mindset towards business presentations and discusses several tools to use when presenting to an audience.

9.  Giving Dynamic Business Presentations (Workshop)
This module helps participants overcome anxiety when addressing an audience in a business setting and guides them in the use of appropriate body gestures and facial expressions. Participants will be videotaped as they give actual presentations for immediate feedback.

10.  Final Test
Participants gauge how much their communication skills have improved through this reading, writing, listening, and speaking test.
