Students bent on becoming medical doctors would be better off studying in medical schools that have a consistent 100 percent passing rate in the Physician Licensure Examinations.

According to Pasig City Representative Roman Romulo, chairman of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education, four universities currently have a 100 percent passing rate in the board examinations.

These are the following:

University of the Philippines in Manila

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila

Ateneo de Manila University

Cebu Institute of Medicine.

This finding was based on the last two Physician Licensure Examinations, which was administered by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Getting into these choice universities is thus very important for aspiring doctors. Thus, reviewing for the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) should be their top priority. This test is a nationwide examination required for admission into medical schools.

AHEAD Professional Network offers an exemplary NMAT review program facilitated by a superb team of lecturers. These lecturers are not only consistent honor students and academic scholars, but they also scored very high in the NMAT. The review also includes a Simulated Test. This test gives the student a feel of the actual test as well as useful test-taking tips.

For aspiring doctors, taking the NMAT is the first step towards a career in the medical profession. Moreover, getting into the right school is certainly a crucial step towards the right direction.
